Alright so with my 205/55/16's I had no issues, a little butt sag, no problem. Well I picked up a set of wheels off of a buddies 2.5rs and now they rub on the LGT but didn't on the rs. Anyone have an ideas on how to get the 225/35/17's to clear. They are winter tires and I picked up the set for less than what a new set of winters would have cost and I got rims and 3 spare tires.

here's the porn lmk if you have suggestions

Where are they rubbing? Strut or fender? Front or rear?

wheels that fit?

I have sti suspension and 225s and there's plenty of room. offset is +53.

Sorry it's rubbing on the rear only. I'm thinking if I shime my rears a bit some way and lift the back end i'll clear. But that's only one suggestion I got.

get aftermarket camber bolts in the rear, without them you'll have positive camber in the back. With bolts maxed out I'm at -1.2 which is just about perfect.

more camber all around will make the car handle significantly better.

How bad is tire wear? Also who should I get them from the whiteline ones are 70 a pair!

well, in addition to being in factory spec, there won't be any wear as long as the toe is straight. Ingalls/intrax/spc are all the same bolt as the whiteline and cost half the price.

In the front you want even more for the car to handle well at all. Cornering on the outside edge of the tire isn't good for wear or grip. I have -2.5 degrees on the front, which is about the most I would recommend for a street car. For the track or frequent auto-x I'd be looking for at least -3.

He would have to slot the holes for the fronts. Jamal did it too.
