i am trying to find out what the legacy it trying to tell me me. I have a rubber on rubber squeak/ rubbing noise whenever the wheel isn't turned strait and the car is in motion, doesn't happen when i just turn the wheel side to side while stopped.

the sound gets faster changes pitch with speed, and my drivers side wheels has about 3 times the amount of brake dust on it compared to the passenger side.

I think the brakes are involved somehow due to the heavy dusting, but the sound doesn't change under braking though as i would expect it too.

I know my rotors need turned/replaced they have deposits from cooking the pads @ my first autocross they shudder under heavy braking above 30mph

any suggestions for what i should look for?
stuck caliper, things rubbing etc...?

Check the sliders and piston movement on both sides. You could have a non-working caliper or a caliper that is dragging the pads.

update for people who search and find this thread, it was my wheel bearing allowing the hub and the rotor like wise to "wiggle" and thats whatcaused the dusting and brake sounds
