I have decided that searching for single port headers is a waste of time (I really didn't have that much to begin with), so I'm going to make my own set of exhaust headers. I have access to an arc welder for a short while & I'm going to take full advantage of it. Now, my only issues are figuring out width/length of the pipes & how much larger they should be. I'm to go for a diameter a little larger than stock. I want to go outside & measure the headers but unfortunately, I don't have any new exhaust/flange gaskets or else I'd be doing that right now. I also intend to cut my old flanges off the stock headers, thoroughly scrape the rust off, & use them for the new ones. Anything else I should be concerned with other than what I have mentioned?
Also, are these compatible with the 1999 BD GT KYB shock/strut assembly? (http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/STI-Coi ... -BG-55498# (http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/STI-Coil-Spring-Suspension-Legacy-BD-BG-55498#)) I have been fooled before. If they are legit, I WILL be getting them 1 by 1.
