HAS ANYONE DRIVEN ON FALKEN AZENIS? just wondering because i'm getting a set for summer and just seeing what other LGT owners think?

they're fantastic tires if you can afford to swap them regularly. They've been the autox'ers tire of choice for some time now. They seem to perform their best when dead cold. I've never owned a set, but ive driven an impreza with them and w/o them.

I have Azenis on my STS2 autocross Miata. I love them. Love. Love. I daily drive on the Azenis during the summer, and I race on them as well. I have put about 9k miles on my set so far without significant noticeable wear. I expect them to last ~20k miles before I need to purchase another set. These tires coupled with Evolution Performance Driving School and Koni Yellows made me a regional champ this year in my class.

i raped another set of tires. thats 2 sets in ~25,000. currently i'm running ZIEX512s, are the azenies (sp) better for wear?

From what I have heard/read, no... But I haven't owned a set of Ziexs. I'll let you know in a few months when we rape the tires on my buddy's 3SGE-swapped MR-2. ;-)

Falkens are awseome. My mom's Volvo S-80 has 225/50/17 ziexs and the things rides on rails. Best part is they were only a little over 100 a piece @ sears.

Damn that's crazy, I found the Ziex 215/50R17 for my rims $75 each. I'm getting my girl 195/69R17 for $37 each

yeah, mine were $74/ea (205/55/16) i think i'm gonna get another set, they are wearing pretty good, plus they are DIRT CHEAP. that one i had that was all loud and slappy, mostly quit with its mileage. i don't get it.
