My GT as of now, has non heated seats and I was wondering if heated seats will plug right in? I know there is plugs under the seat and the center console, but didnt know if there was anything else that would need to be done for them to work right...
Only reason is for the days when I go snowboarding or snowshoeing, leather is freaking cold when it's 15F outside...
My bad, it's a 1998....

not sure but along with seats/ or inserts, your going to need the relay and switch.

I know about the switch (on the console that is)....
I'm lost on the relay... Have any idea where it is? Under the hood, or the dash???

The relay you are looking for is the rear power accessory relay located at the pass side kick panel right below the glovebox. It has a pink 4 pin connector. I just added seat heaters to my 98 LGT. It was incredibly easy. The most time consuming part is adding the actual seat heater element to the seat itself. The seat cover has to be removed and the hog rings that hold the cover to the foam have to be reinstalled. It took me about 5 hours including the wiring. My butt is nice and warm though.

All the parts are from an SUS sedan at my local junkyard. You need the relay I previously mentioned, the switches with pigtail connectors and the seat heaters with pigtails, thats it. Hook it up like in the schematic from the factory service manual and you're done. My driverside seat heats up in less than 5 mins. I cant wait for it to get colder, lol.

Its the same schematic for the seat heater circuit in the FSM that you have in your sig.
Here ya go. I made it a bit easier.

Sweet! I had been on the lazy side of things looking for the relay...
I think I might be trying to find some junk sears for this winter... It's getting a little cold now and snowboarding season is about to start...
very cool. my new car does not have heated seats, it would be awesome if I could get them in somehow.
