i've unscrewed the 4 8mm bolts i could find but the thing wont budge.... is there something i overlooked..


nothing can ever be simple can it? :roll:

Did you heat it up with a hairdryer to soften the glue?

Once it's nicely heated, push from the inside on each bolt so that it evenly moves out.

it took also of work but i just grabbed with my man muscles and started wrenching them off. use your man muscles they will come, young grasshopper.

hah, i didnt know it was glued in....that actually makes alot of sense now... i will attempt again shortly

If you heat it up enough you won't have to use any man-muscles. Kid muscles work fine. ;)

The BK tails were a pain to get off, and I only did one corner.

The BE was waaaaay easy.

Hah... should try GF tails. There's a hidden bolt waaaay down the sides - I had to use needle-nose pliers and push on the light to get it loose, all sight unseen.
