Hi, I have been a member for some time now doing a lot of diggen to figure out what is the best plan of attack for my project. I 'm also new to forums so try to be nice. Ok so here it is. I have a 1995 legacy wagon L 2.2 NA with a 5 speed manual, an ej22t in the midst of tear down... I plan on doing a full rebuild of the motor, and a set of projector headlights installed... thanks for the write up on the install. The engine I bought was dirty as a pig and the turbo is sized. Here is what I think I know. The Intake manifold, wireing, ecu from my na will work with the ej22t as long as I run a piggy back, wideband, bigger injectors, fuel pump and a good tune on a dyno. As far as the cooling system goes I think the GC8 hoses will fit... I want to run samco or alike... along with a koyo rad for a legacy ss. Turbo and exhuast... was looking into a bigger trubo but don't know what type/size is optimal for my build. I plan on getting a Invidia header, bellmouth downpipe... with or without cat? I don't know what would be better, and then run a 3" exhuast. Which is better equal or unequal length header? FMIC for a GC8 for cooling the charge. I know about the head swaps and I don't want to go there, it seems like everyone has their own idea on that topic. I have read the article from legacy central, and I'm keeping my 22t heads. If I can find someone near where I live I'll get a port/polish and get the cams reground. My tranny will either need to be beefed up or swapped along with the rear diff. My goal is to be able to be competative with my buddies modified wrx. So I'm looking for 300hp+
So If anyone can point out what is correct/wrong, Link me to someone who has done/doing something simillar, or just have some good advise that would make my day  .
