Ok, so I did a little more work with my car and found the EGR tube was packed solid. I got a new one and installed it and that works great. The issue I have now is an operational check of the EGR system. I have also changed all of the vacuum lines, as well as the BPT and EGR solenoid.
With the car fully warmed up, I increase the engine speed to 3500 rpms and hold, the EGR valve opens, holds for about 1-2 seconds, then quickly closes, throttle speed still at 3500 rpms.
Is this the normal operation of the EGR? Or is it supposed to stay open when I maintain higher than 3000 rpms?
