They always go for around that price.. i see them on ebay all the time for around $1000. The hard part is getting the engine INTO your car. Costly and expensive no doubt with the JDM twin turbos.

You dont need to use the twin turbo set up, convert to a single turbo and go on with your business.

The OE twin turbo setup only works on RHD cars. If someone picks this up, you'd be better off switching to a single turbo as Reason suggested. :wink:

some people like the challenge of doing something...even if its not the best or the most efficient, the uniqueness of a project like this makes it worth it to some people

Is that a semi-closed deck block or is is that the same open deck block like the N/A?

Too bad it isn't a 2.5, that setup like that would work great for my plans, since it comes with the trans and harness and everything, but I don't want a 2.0. Not enough power off boost.

Trust me.. id be all about it if i had a couple extra grand chillin around waiting to be spent and a spare car to drive.. oh a garage.. that would help too :lol:

Damnit, another reason I'm on the wrong coast...

I'd have the drop-in handled (no cost) and the pipes custom fabbed for RHD.
Anyone know of vendors in the west coast? This thread makes me sad.
