Bought the car in Feb 2006 for 300.00 it needed some work it had rust issues damaged hood, front passanger fender.
it had 217,xxx miles. Its a 1991 legacy sport sedan, 5mt, 3.90 rear limited slip diff, Ej22t
I took it to a state patrol training track for track day in april while running over 80 laps pushing
13 pounds of boost all day the 22t had seen better days, the car ended up getting 90 miles per tank.
so with the motor worn out I had a EJ20G on a stand waiting to go in. the Ej20g is an early legacy RS Turbo motor
from Japan. the motor was from an automatic car. What the autos had recieved a mild cam from factory.
The motor is a closed deck design from 89-91. it also came with the black air water intercooler.
The mods so far are
hks super flow air filter
hks ej20g intake tube
hks ssqv bov (not pictured)
hks 3 inch down pipe
5ziegen fireball cat back midpipe and axle back (3inch)
invidia race up pipe
td04 turbo from a wrx
hallman boost controler
oil catch can
exedy stage one clutch

headlights are a 43k hid
dsm fog lamps
relocated turn signals
my92 fender lamps
my 02 wrx rims painted black (summer)
my91 ss rims painted black (winter)
window tint 20%
baked head lamps
blacked out grille
painted calipers

Ebc drilled and slotted rotors
morse semi metalic pads front and rear.

blacked out interior panels

So you are running an EJ20G motor now? Thats what I plan on doing when my EJ25/EJ22T hybrid goes pop. What ECU are you using? How many pounds are you running? What injectors? So many questions LOL. Love the car, look forward to your responses.

Yeah its been an ej20g since May. I running the EJ20Gs stock for now injectors, stock ej22t ecu, 13pounds of boost. will be doing some type of em I need 2.5k for an altronic stand alone. When I have the time away from my 1991 eagle talon Tsi. I'm going to do a Ej22t block with wiesco forged internals Ej20g heads maybe 20k heads, I'm planing a gt35r hoping on getting another awic. the suspension is going to be a harder one since it is a 91 but a tein coil over system might be in the mix. right now body mods are in the plan.
