Hey guys,
I'm new to the board... I wanted to know if the seats from the outbacks fit in my 1995 legacy AWD? I found an outback at the junkyard with a fresh set of leather seats and wanted to put them in my Legacy since the others are old and stained. From what I saw it looks like they are the same, the car looked pretty much the same as the legacy, maybe a 1996? The seats I have are not power and the ones at the junkyard weren't either, so I would guess they just pop in?
Thanks,
-Mike

They will fit.. they are the same seats from 95-99 I'm pretty damn sure. Even if they were wrx seats or something.. they could still technically fit. However.. i'm very sure they will bolt in proper like your stock ones.

Awesome! My brother has a 98 GT and his seats look like the same bolt pattern too. I'm a Honda guy and am familiar with the way the seats from civics interchange with integras and stuff so I figured they might work. They def aren't from a WRX its just outback station wagon with dark grey leathers in nice condition. Nice upgrade for my winter mobile!

93-07 = same bolt pattern.. I am sure the 08+ are the same but I'v never played with those before.
Your options can go from USDM to JDM the bolt patterns will fit

So I went and picked up the leather seats yesterday along with the rear seats. However, when I got home I realized the back seats prob wont work since the ones came from an outback and it seems they are more rectangular (for wagon) than the ones for the sedan. Can u guys confirm this? Also, the outback seats have a hinge, where u pull a strap and it unhooks the underside of the back of the bottom seat and the seat rotates toward the front of the car, for storage? my sedan just has bolts and no rotation hinges, so it won't work right?
The front seats def fit though, thanks again for your help! $60 for a full leather interior isn't too shabby lol

Wagon rear seats do not fit a sedan :-( Sedan seats fit a wagon.... but no rear support.
The sedans have backing plates that are welded to the body. These plates are used to hold the latches for the fold down seats with the fabric strap to release the latch. The wagons do not use backing plates since the seat itself is the entire support instead of latching to the rear it latches to the side.
The rear wagon seats should still fit "<-- width -->" wise.. Its the top of the seat that has a lip that slides over the rear speaker deck. if I am not mistaken the both the sedan and wagon rear seats use the same 3 bolts to hold the seat down. Your problem is how to attach the seats from the top.
Oh wells.
