My buddy started my retro fit last night, and taking ideas from on here they are slowly coming together. I'm using e49 projectors and some green led's to make something similar to the owl eyes.

You can see the progress on nasioc in akic under aftermarket lighting. There will be pics on here soon too, but I'm really excited. Just need to find some green led 194 bulbs for the city lights and then chrome amber turn signal bulbs.

I'm posting via my blackberry, can't do that, and I'm banned on nasioc, so it's really difficult.

Got to love the green on the shields and the led strips...it's alright huffer you can bow to me now, even if you're from ohio :smt019

So why did you decide to replace a projector.. with a projector? I'm not too up on my lighting info.. so.. just wondering. Wouldnt it have been easier to just get an HID kit or something?

Greenspeed, nice retro! At some point you may want to upgrade projectors to FX35's or TSX projectors. They are really wide and intense.

We had a set of tsx's that were ganna be used but the other project needed them. The BMW ones are intense. I'll get side by side between them and the tsx's after it's all done

The 2nd one is half done. Found some 3 inch rubber caps at homo depo to cover the rears of the housings. She's coming along well. So excited to get them in and wired up
