Is there a dual exhaust kit for a 1998 subaru legacy gt?

unless your going custom, no none out there. Though i have seen someone make set of custom headers, seperate piping for either head attached to straight pipes that go down the chassis to the back, effectively making it a dual exhaust :smt005

LOL I know about the ODBI having a single O2. But, if you're doing a true dual exhaust, won't your single O2 sensor be getting half the signal it should? And what if you have an issue with one cylinder being hotter than the others? What would throw a code wouldn't... I could see it working if you put the sensor in an xover, but I don't see one...
the 02 sensor measures the air/fuel ratio. if only 2 cylinders are feeding that tube, it'll have half the air, and half the fuel. meaning the ratio will remain unchanged.

I think the OP is thinking more along the lines of all the "dual" muffler exhausts that a lot of cars now have...there's basically a Y right after the rear wheels to 2 exhaust tips.

You could install an H-pipe or an X-pipe and install the O2 there and effectively still get all 4 cyl monitored by the O2. An H-pipe or X-pipe will also cut down on the rasp that will exist with a true dual exhaust.
