Hello,

Putting my SRT away for the winter and came across a 97 Subaru Legacy for a winter car. I noticed that the left headlight is much brighter than the right headlight. There is also a work order from a couple years ago stateing the same problem. What can I check? I am not very familiar with Subaru's as I am a Dodge guy myself, and know Neon's/SRT's through and through.

Also, I noticed one day when looking it over it had this wire running from one headlight to the next.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like the wiring harness for the one headlight corroded, so they jumped the electrical current from one headlight to the other. Hack job.

Any idea how I might go about fixing it? Or do you know where I can get my hands on a wireing diagram?

I only just recently started driving the car everyday. I noticed this goes away after flicking the headlights from hi to low. After that both headlights work normally.
