So our Daily Driver looks too plain for me to leave it alone and I would like some help making decisions. I just want it to have some character and I definitely want this to be finished tastefully. I apologize ahead of time for my poor Photoshop skills. I would appreciate constructive criticism or other possible alternatives to what I have listed. If I should leave it be, lemme know. Thank you.

Idea #1: Use stained glass paint to color the fogs yellow. (It worked well on the WRX)
Idea #2: Take the chrome on the grill and paint it a satin black.
Idea #3: Change the color of the faux wood trim in the dash and doors.
Idea #4: Slightly modify an Integra Lip and install.

Here is what I would like opinions on:
1: Yellow the Fogs?
2: Paint the grill? (black or color match)
3: Paint the Faux Wood interior trim? (black, silver, other)
4: Install the lip?

All good ideas I think. You can check out what the dash looks like silver in my member's ride thread. I think clearing the headlights also makes a huge improvement.Time to start having fun

definately paint fogs, the grill imo would look better in white, the interior someone changed that stuff because silver like that only came in bajas and yes you can defiantely paint it any color of your choice, i first painted silver and now its gunmetal there are few ways to do it plastidip or spray paint i used paint and it holds up pretty well one scratch in two years. for the lip is totally what you personally like the best a few folks just do diy lip out of garage door seal looks decent and costs 10 bucks. also you can black out the area in the front bumper around fogs like that entire depression and it looks pretty good i think ndto has done it. good luck, neat looking car.

Here's what I'd do:

Yellow TINT the fogs. Don't paint them. Put some yellow film over them. That way it's protection that can be removed/replaced.
Flat black the trim pieces
OEM Momo shifter knob
OEM Momo steering wheel
WRX front seats

And here's the really nice way to spruce things up:
Bilstein struts and a mild lowering.

I would follow through and paint the rest of your center trim silver...it just seems too busy with the center stack trim being a different color, even black.

I'd clear the headlights and keep the side trim as is...paint the chroms "wings" on the grille flat black, leave everything else alone.

First off, Thank you everyone for your input. Between the three sites I posted this on, I got some good ideas and made some decisions.

1: Yellow the Fogs: I've ordered some yellow fog bulbs so I'll see how I like those for the time being. One of the bulbs was out anyways, so replacing them is no biggie.

2: Paint the grill? (black or color match): I'm going to paint the chrome parts of the grill flat or satin black, either way its not glossy. Since my grill emblem is cracked from hitting a bird, I want to try repainting the backing of the emblem cherry blossom red. If I don't like it, it could use a new one anyways. I also have some mesh from my bugeye grill that I really like, so I'm gonna cut some inserts and see if I like those. The mesh inserts will be painted the same black as the chrome parts.

3: Paint the Faux Wood interior trim? (black, silver, other): The faux wood trim is going silver to match the (wrx and) top part around the gauges. If the silver paint doesn't match the silver trim stuff that's there, I'll take off the silver stuff and paint it.

4: Install the lip: I'll skip the lip for now. If I still really like the look come springtime, I'll think about it more. And if the silver dash doesn't do it for me, I'll either paint it black or maybe wrap it in dry carbon vinyl. If I come across a JDM bumper for cheap and we have the money, I'll consider it at that time.

Small Edit: Faux wood is going Flat Black. I compared two interiors and saw one in black and one in silver, and the black won hands down (IMO). And now I almost have my wife convinced I can tear apart her daily driver. lol.

Interior is painted. Not as flat as I'd like, but it looks much better.

Car interior looks good mate, I was going to suggest fitting a momo leather and wood steering wheel as i didnt mind the wood look but the black looks good. As Huffer suggested a slight lowering will look great and make the car feel alot safer when cornering, gave my wife alot more confidence driving when i did it to her awd ride. The picture of the spoiler you posted on the red legacy looks good but be careful, they are magnets for damage when parking and are a curse if your not planning on racing the car. My only suggestions really are tint the rear lights and bezel, the red really stands out against the tinted windows, and fit a free flowing exhaust and muffler, sounds great and gets the car breathing (better fuel consumption when driving easy, better performance when driving hard :)

Cheers.

Sorry forgot to add, unless using the roof racks on a regular basis take em off. They chew through the petrol.

We didn't drive the LGT because the stupid aftermarket clutch line failed, so we were driving a Ford Freestyle. It is all fixed now though, so January you can see it.

hey do you know where to get that lip on the black legacy?

subaru_terrence would have all the details for you.

Blitzen-I would take off the roof racks, but I never got the key with them, so I have to talk to a locksmith to get a key made. They are handy for finding the car in crowded parking lots though...

I'll keep that in mind. I have no idea what they're worth though since they came on the car.
