Bought it for a winter car. Always talked about rockguarding a car, so thought this was the perfect one! It is mostly finished. I still have to do the door jams, and touch up a couple spots that I missed.

Now thats a winter beater!!!

How much weight do you think you added by spraying the entire car?

Either way no snow bank will stop you now :-D

Lol, not too much weight. It only took 5 spray cans.

I'm really enjoying the way the BD looks in that texture and colour...

Can anyone explain rock guarding in more detail? (advantages/disadvantages, effects of rust, etc)

She's going to be getting a recoat this year. The stuff I used last time really didn't hold up.

Does it have to do with prepping it? Any time I use an adheasive I prep the sureface with alcohol. May not be the same, but prep could be everything.

I think it was just the stuff I used. Seems like it didn't like the sun too much, it's faded and really grey looking now, lol, it's pretty bad. I'll have to take a pic when it dries off. While the car is wet it looks great, lol.
