today i had alittle time an i took my door panel off and looked at the wires didnt find anything. im sure that i need to take my door off and investigate better but i jumped on google an i found that it may also be the door switch, could the door switch be creating the short?
here the site http://www.racepages.com/parts/window_switch/subaru.html

i doubt the switch would cause a short but i could be wrong. its just unlikely that would happen, its possible your short is before the wiring goes inside your door, i can use Alldata and can print out any wiring diagram so we can trace all the wiring

Does the sunroof still work?
Also, do both radiator fans still work as well?

Let us know, if both are working or not.
