Looking to replace the horn and I was linked to this thread at NASIOC

at this site http://www.streetsideauto.com/products2 ... =003399801 (http://www.streetsideauto.com/products2.asp?brand=BFDP&partnumber=003399801)

if you enter in the discount code "ssawinner09" they take 10% off so final cost is $45.69

I personally purchased some from them and it's a legit deal. $45 for some Supertones = nevAr lose!

And yes, they are made in Inda, not Germany, as with all new Supertones being made now.

There are whispers of lower decibels... but so what... 110 vs 118 db or whatever OH NO!

And there's nothing to them, a couple metal plates and wires, nothing too high tolerance or crazy accurate I'm sure. So even a lower quality Supertone would beat the stock horns or most other brands aftermarket horn selection.

Besides, our cars are made in Japan, and they have some pretty bad quality issues wouldn't you say?

Same with other cars made in Germany, Sweden, Mexico, Japan...... Hell Kia and Hyundai are made in Korea, and are kicking higher branded products asses in quality ratings.

Crap products get made everywhere in the world, "German engineering" is losing its ground these days.

True.. most people are buying these for show anyways.. so I doubt it will matter too much.

I'm not buying them for show.. if you lay on the horn on my car you can hear the metal disk change tone it's annoying as hell.

i havent seen the wiring diagram, but they might be wired in parallel where both horns have to be hooked up to work....I.E. old christmas tree lights, when one bulb burns out, they all go out

I found out what it was I had two of the wires backwards... I will put the relay in the morning.

haha I don't think I can get the old horn out without breaking the bolt it's pretty rusted up.
