Acquired some more parts, just waiting on shipping on some stuff. have some stuff chilling in NZ and Japan to see if I can combine anything else before it starts its journey! should have one care package this week with some engine dress up goodies
Finally got the door moldings and badge on! Ended up finding out some bad news with the wing so the extensions pieces are waiting till it's all buttoned up and on for good.

I want to, but the pictures don't show the ugly truth on them :( they have deep marks and since they are a textured plastic and make them hard to repair and not notice :/ so I'm watching for cool jdm aftermarket set or just a clean USDM set to be my painting victims. New bumper and skirt are colored match, so skirts are my only thing left now. I'm excited to see it go to a good home :)
Adjusted the clutch pedal today, I've had a feeling it wasn't fully engaging making it hard to shift gears sometimes: update it's feeling better, still think I could back the threaded rod out a little more but it's promising, pedal feels much tighter.
Figured I should make a little exhaust clip, I'll make a better one soon. once these two care packages drop I'll do a video and some pics

Mine wont be as crazy though. just a ej205 from an 05 WRX. full exhaust, VF39? VF48? idk yet, STI TMIC, dark blue injectors, toon, uhhhh and a bunch of OEM replacement crap lol.
What did you do for gauges? I was planning on universal A pillar 3 pod or a 3 pod on the dash (universal, 3m tape lolz)
That's about all I'm going to be too for a while :) I have a VF48 sitting on my shelf, just need EWG, Injectors, EBCS, and I'd like to EL Header too but otherwise It's staying basic for the time being
I'll send you a picture tomorrow, but I have my boot gauge on my pillar, Wideband in the vent by the window and oil pressure in the vent above the radio :) worked out pretty well, although I might change it up soon

So up at night thinking to myself looking into the JDM heavens and an idea hit me. I want to do a cluster swap but a jdm bg5 cluster isn't an easy option due to electrical differences in the 98/99 models. and the GD Ver7 STI is my fav but leaves funky gaps on the side :/ well my friend has this cluster gauge pod that covers up all the gauges on the side.. Issue is ZOLVED and fixes my Wideband and oil pressure gauge in my vents. So pretty soon I will be buying a JDM Ver7 STI Non DCCD cluster from G-Rom cluster flashing, bought the cluster shorud so i'm set other then the cluster and pig tails!

I and my friends have been wondering how these eBay solid endcap rads are since there are no options for aftermarket rads in USDM 2G's other than these. if it holds up a while I'll have a nipple welded into it for my turbo coolant tank lines and bosses for a factory WRX Hard pipe so all my coolant stuff is as OEM as I can get! and for $110 shipped worth a shot

Picked up an OEM heatshield, Coolant lines to coolant tank on intake off a poor 04 FXT at the junkyard :( Also picked up a Bugeye cluster and pigtails too to test fit in my car before shelling out for a V7 STI cluster

Yes, you lose the rumble. still sounds like a Boxer at below 5k, and above that, it sounds mean! it drives nicer, blip downshifts don't stumble and feels overall happier and so smooth closer to redline. overall I'm so happy with it, best thing I've done engine wise so far

It has been ages since I've been on SL-i... this thing's really coming together! I loved the HKS EL header on my OBXT, still retained a hint of the boxer sound... at least until the blouch 1.5xtr spooled and the EWG ripped open. :lol:
