New toy/Quick project for tomorrow =)

Picked the head unit up today, the ipod 2 days ago and Ive had the Sirius unit for a while now =)

One question though, for those who have added the sat radio units, how did you route the wire for the antenna and where did you mount the antenna?

I mounted my antenna on the rear hatch.

Well the alpine head unit wasn't what I was looking for and I was told that it had some things that it didnt so I returned it and picked up a kenwood that had what I wanted and a few extra features.

Went ahead and finished up the project on Saturday. Install wasn't hard at all and my worries of mounting the sat antenna was easy also as the weather stripping for the rear window was flexible enough to hide the wire under.

    Final Product

Minimal wires showing for the sat radio

iPod cable nicely tucked into the little cubby under radio, iPod fits inside too and the door shuts

    And the car today 3/8

How hard are they to fish up through the back?

Not hard at all, tough you have to take out the speedo 4/5 screws extra. You just pop off the top trim on the vent. find a nice hole that doesent go into the vent itself and stick it trough. And since mine is USB powered it doubles as a phone charger.
