OK, on the JDM pigtail you have four wires coming out two are grounds two are the power. The two on the bottom of the harness side connector are the power the two on top are the grounds. Should be
    1.) Thick black
2.) thin red or red with a stripe, depending on whether your looking at the right or left
3.)blue with white stripe or red with blue stripe, depending on whether your looking at the right or left
4.)blue with white stripe or red with blue stripe, depending on whether your looking at the right or left

Combine the thin red and thick black together those are the grounds. The bottom left wire (#3) is for the highs the bottom right (#4) is for the low (HID) if your looking at the JDM pigtail with the wires pointing towards you.

The two ground wires go to the center wire from your harness, and the #3 goes to the corresponding color, and #4 goes to remaining wire on your harness.

Hope this helps, if you need me to specify more I'll be happy to.

It's no problem @Red85Celica .I think I might have mixed #3 and #4 up in the posting. With the pigtail wires pointed towards you #3 is directly below the thick black wire #1, and #4 is below the thin red wire. I'm a little fried from the long day. Sorry.

Just a slight nit-pick here. Subarus use switched grounds and constant hot. The thick Black and thin red wires are positive, and the other two are switched grounds, otherwise that information looks correct to me! I just wanted to clarify if someone was trying to use a meter on those circuits and seeing the polarity reversed.. it might cause someone to hook something up backwards.

Please nitpick away! I'm by far no expert in this, you're experience with this stuff eclipses mine without doubt. I'd rather you correct my misinformation so I don't misrepresent anything I think I know.

So then I'm guessing by combining the thick black and thin red wires would cause both my high and low beams to come on simultaneously? @rkrenicki

If you connected both of the blue wires to ground, then yes both sets would be on.

Got impatient with the high beams and it was getting dark. Made a quick harness using the old headlight connector. Light output is very bright. Has PIAA bulbs in it.

So just low beam for now.

Got most of the wiring done... Just confused on the red&black wire plug for the relay on each headlight. I'm getting the impression black to ground and red to fuse link to the + off the battery.

These 3rd gen cebie lights are killing me.... Still can't figure out this stupid wiring, I tried multiple ways with no luck on these. High beam light on dash will stay on low or high, and not getting any high beam, just hid lows.

Think it's these relays on each headlight screwing me up... I went red to power off each one to the battery with inline fuse and the black wire to ground on frame.

Finally found it... High beam is actually a ground on my harness,
so my three prong is -/-/+, high/ground/low. Got everything working correctly now.
