Depends entirely on your combination of tire and wheel. Offset of wheels, plus tire size?

tire size is 245/40r18 and +40mm offset.
Is the car lowered or not? I would expect you'll need to roll your rear fenders either way.

245's are pretty wide, 235's scrubbed on mine, the car is lowish thou.
I've got coilovers set on as hard as they'll go, rolled all guards, very light pull on all guards and camber ~-2.2 all round.
no they fit perfectly no rubbing at all. i can turn the wheel all the way left to right without a problem and as far as i can tell i havent bottomed out on the wheel wells yet so.
So your car isn't lowered?
+40 is a bit low isn't it?

+40 isn't a tire spec. It's a wheel spec.
