Unknown Offset WRX wheel BK fitment

    I am on a 205 50 R15 tire and am looking to go up to a 195/65 , 205/60, maybe 206/65 something with a little more cushion.

will I need spacers for these tires? It seems a bit tight in the rear with the strut being maybe an inch away from the tire as it stands now.

It's the same as a 94 Legacy turbo rim, from the looks of it. 15x6 with +55 offset.

thanks---would i be able to fit a 205/60 R15 tire to this wheel without rubbing the rear strut on a BK?

Re: Unknown Offset WRX wheel BK fitment

useful tool but I dont know exactly how much space there was with the stock tires so I cant really determine whether or not the new tires will fit. I think I am set on the 195 65 15 , maybe 205 60 15 which is a little shorter(but wider). Specs are below maybe someone experienced with this can help.

    175/70/14 (Stock Tire):
    Sidewall 4.8
    Radius 11.8
    Diameter 23.6
    Circumference 74.3

    195/65/R15
    Sidewall 5
    Radius 12.5
    Diameter 25
    Circumference 78.5

The stock Legacy (non-Outback) size is actually 185/70/14. You'll be fine with 195/65/15 or 205/60/15. 205/65 might be too big, and even if it fits your speedometer might be a little off.

What I always tell people is pick the tire first, then pick the size. What are you looking for out of your tires? Good ride?

Yeah well im looking for a decently grippy tire that is driveable in rain, dirt or gravel roads, occasional snow. Was looking into the BFG Traction in a 205/60

I have Bridgestone Potenza Grid g019's on my car and they are pretty good handling for an all season. I'd buy them again if I was in the market for all seasons.
