No more AC compressor-no more Tensioner-I want to keep P.S!

I took off my AC compressor and the alternator is having a hard time stabilizing itself with out it, what can I do to hold it in place? It's held in by one bolt! The bolt is the adjusting one and the alternator moves slightly downward because the bolt can't tighten enough. That causes the power steering belt to have a lot of slack and slows down because the track doesn't grip it very well. How can I support my alternator with out putting my AC compressor back on?????

Isn't there a bolt in the rear and the bottom of the alternator? That should be enough to hold it.

Why did u take off the A/C bracket?? You can just remove the compressor and leave the bracket

no 4 long bolts hold the AC pump to that bracket and then 3 bolts hold the bracket to the block, that bracket is the only support for the alternator the bolt on the other side is only to lock the tensioner down not support the altenator

This is an example of the bracket. this is from a 02 wrx but its the same concept as the non-turbo brackets.

The bracket has to attach to the block or the compressor will get damaged from vibration.
