Speechless!
Very speechless. What exhaust are you running on the STI
Yes officer, I did hit a pedestrian, but instead of dwelling on that why not focus on how many I've missed?
Yes the 22B is in my hometown in New Zealand. I live in Monterey California at the moment. I just could not resist the opportunity to buy a 22B. I am desperately searching for a Subaru Legacy rs ra in N.Z,now too. It is a bit frustrating not being able to drive it etc but I own it and that is good enough for me. The Exhaust on my sti is an AVO and it is simply the best exhaust I have ever seen, it is not too loud but sounds great!
Good god, this is purely out of control! 3 of my favorite Subarus.

A real 22B...
Yes the 22B is number 339 of 400 and it is in New Zealand. I will work on trying to get it imported but as you all will tell me it is virtually impossible but I will look into it some more as I know some people that have imported similar cars.
I will post a few more pictures, it's great to see enthusiasts of the 22Bs on the Legacy forum, I started out working on a Legacy rally car and worked for dealership on Legacys so I really like the old BC6 Legacy but man do I love the Impreza 22B what a fun car!
Show or Display exemption - it worked for Bill Gates' Porsche 959 which I believe they made fewer of than the 22b.
If you ever teardown the engine I'd love to see the internals and heads.

Man...... 22B the best looking subaru of all time, I bet it hauls some serious ass too. I would kill for one of them to call my own.

I was thinking the same thing. I was just wondering if those cars are even driven considering how clean the under-carriage is.Originally Posted by Zac
As for importing the 22B, I would leave it NZ. It would probably get stolen if you brought it here due to the rarity. Unless of course you have a covered and locked carport to park it in.

You could always bring it in trough Canada, or do it the way my Pulsar was imported, but that would suck for a car like that...Originally Posted by 22B05STI

Wow the floor in your garage is so sexy!..... plus everything that lays on it is pure sex also but I dream to have a garage with a nice floor like that.

Hmmm. Just reading through your thread, I think I have been passed by that 22B on a local road in NZ a couple of years back. Had a very similar license plate, and they're hard to miss.
Christchurch by any chance? I'm from Taupo & Wellington (in that order) but rocked down south many a time. My old Impreza wagon is now living comfortably in Blenheim.

Well it was our three Subarus but since the legacy is far from being finished we needed to do something about having a daily driver so this is my Wifes new car..... Not mine and definately not allowed to pull this one apart
It is a 08 Subaru Forester with 33,000 miles when we bought it
What a gem!
Cool!
Is that rear diffuser on the STI stock? How much are they and will they fit a 1st gen legacy?
