Has anybody tried a set of Husky Liner floor mats?

They say that they are custom created to fit perfectly against the contours of our cars carpet and center console.

I am just wondering if anyone has used these yet.

I have a pair husky's and I love them, they keep all of the dirt and salt off of the floor.

Re: Has anybody tried a set of Husky Liner floor mats?

The fact that the liner curves up towards the door sills and center console makes them better then OEM :-D

Fitment on the weathertech is 100% laser scanned mold so no flexing no curling.

Re: Has anybody tried a set of Husky Liner floor mats?

Those are not the lazer fitted/molded weather tech mats...

You have to trim the rear mats to fit.

The ones I would be looking for would be the digital fit ones that are more like trays... but they dont make them for second gen

Re: Has anybody tried a set of Husky Liner floor mats?

I thought this thread was about front floor mats?

The fronts are direct fit but I don't have any mats in my car so I'll stop posting now.

Good luck with the fight against salt and sand.

The fit is good but they do cover the trunk and gas release. It could be trimmed around it but it doesn't really bother me that much.

    Yes they are molded

Hey guys, the WeatherTech mats are amazing. Is it true that 05-09 Outback mats should fit 96-98 Outbacks? I'm hoping that the shape of the floor pan is the same because WeatherTech DigitalFit mats are really exacting in their molding of the interior spaces.

the floor pan is vastly different between the 96-99 and the 05-09, so the DigitalFit mats will not work, but their generic "cut-to-fit" ones will work just fine after being modified.

I bought the 06 Subaru outback all weather mats from the dealer for my 95. I loved them. The fit pretty good, looked good, and worked great.

I've got the molded husky liners and they fit pretty good out of the box... the drivers side could have fit a little better, so I hit it with the heat gun and pressed it into a better fit, it was only a half an inch here and there, but now its perfect. I'm happy with 'em.

I was unable to sources any "molded" liners for the rear seat wells so I went with the Husky Liners "custom fit" heavy duty ones and they fit perfectly.

They are awesome, had the front set for my BE. I trimmed to bit that goes over the gas lever though.

Funny enough, the floor pan is *close enough* for the BP/BL that I was able to reuse them for my 05 OBXT too

I have a set of Husky Liners that I have had in 3 Subaru's now - 98 BK GT, 02 BH GT, and currently 02 BH L. 7 years of use overall and holding up well. I have the rear molded Husky Liners mats as well, guess they discontinued them as some point since 08.
