when i first got the wheels leaning on the vr4






it was very windy when i just painted the wheels and stupid me leaned it on my brothers obs and fell on its face and scraped the edges looking like curb marks

Bought the car around summer of 09 with a blown clutch. Previous owner had a short shifter, blacked out the taillights, painted the stock gt wheels black and tinted it. My old computer crapped out so i don't have the older pics.

2009
installed ebay clutch (didn't last long because of the trans snout problem, which i didn't know at the time)
ebay f&r strut bars

2010

installed the jdm goodies

head gasket blew and i changed it and it crapped out on me again. So i decided to pull out the motor and rebuilt it





installed act clutch

rebuilt the engine

2011
removed my exhaust setup (header all the way to the muffler and transfered it to my bro's impreza) for smog. running stock right now

painted the car


swapped the kyb agx/intrax springs to eibach pro street coilover


new wheels

You must explain this trick... It looks absolutely amazing, Im in total shock lol

when mounting a lip, i always find the center of the bumper and the center of the lip. i made mine stick out enough to where the center top edge meets the upper bumper lip (i've seen others tuck it in, which i didn't like how it looks) then just use a self tapping screw and work my way left and right until your near by the bend. then i follow the contour of the side and using a stick as a guide so it can stick out just like the bumper. i used a serrated knife to cut off the excess on the side corner.

hard to explain but hope it helps.

also if you paint the bumper lip(kinda) and the lip mounted on it black, it fools the eye that it seems like the lip is really big. almost like a cheap greddy lip

great balance with the 22mm rsb. very responsive
need to take it up the mountains to see how it does

Thanks everyone. As far as the flares goes, the guy said its off a lexus. Bought two sets since I messed up the first one (150 shipped each set). I did told him alot of you guys been interested on it and told him maybe he can get it cheaper if he buys it in bulk.

yes its a v-limited lip

yes it does, the canards makes it flow better since the flares only covered about 2-3 inches of the bumper. i was surprised that it all worked out

there was no machining involved to fit the sti internals because when i rebuilt the engine i found out that it had a phase 2 block with the phase 1 head. Its a direct bolt on to the phase 2 block, just need to find out what piston you need (A or B). Crawford had this deal awhile back (200 shipped for the sti pistons/rods) and it had barely any miles. They said they have alot of new sti engines and tear it down to slap their product in, which was great

I missed the STI internals part. So if you're running STi pistons, with a phase 1 DOHC, what kind of compression are you getting?

And the flares - they're not Lexus GS flares are they?

Damn i can't remember whats the compression ratio. I need to research it again. There was a post where brydon (rs25.com) where he breaks down the comp ratio. There was also a site that calculates it but its down.

the only thing i found was one with a thin door cap and its fiberglass. this one is abs plastic, very lightweight and i used adhesive to hold it and screw on the ends
