Finally spent some time with this car. Merge the wires myself thanks to Brydon's diy on rs25 and Alphius wire chart here. Also printed out the wiring diagram on the 98 lgt and 02 wrx thanks to this site and about 3-4 days later I had it done. So it's Iwireitmyself #1

Its overwhelming but its not too bad. Just make sure to triple check your stuff. I wanted to take this to Bay Area Meet this year but sadly I didn't have enough time to diagnose the car. Starts and died shortly

Engine out. Driver fender out for the SMJ to go thru and pulled the dash to swap wires
Can't seem to upload the video of it running but I got it running. It turned out that the vacuum hose going to the boost solenoid will make the car die right away if its not connected (broken, old brittle hose). I could of taken this car to the show but I didn't have enough time to diagnose it even though it was just a vacuum hose lol.
So yes my merge was successful and she's running. I just need to put an exhaust from the converter, clean up the interior and return it back.

nice to see man, I wouldn't even think of touching wiring, let alone doing a merge myself haha but i've heard its not super hard, just overwhelming like you said. Ill still pass
