how she sits now , not finished some touch ups on the bondo and lots more sanding and i have matching paint... soon she'll be done but the leggy is RUSTLESS feels good to say that now

another update, yesterday i tried to only up my hatch and it wouldnt due to the handle broke so i called up my local subaru dealer and it cost me 20$ for a new one, all shiny and black and such

My handle hardly works at all. I have to use the key in the hatch and pull it multiple times before it actually opens.....

My prego girlfriend (due date in 1 week) helped me wrap my headers!


time to let them dry then one more coat of paint and should be on the leggy this weekend

Yup single port, I had to fab them due to lack of finding some url headers for my 2.2 .. and thank you

20$ for limber and bolts for jig
50$ for wrap

That's pretty trick man. Most people would just fight tooth and nail to find some used single ports while some will swap the entire heads. That's using some intuition!

You're going to love those headers with that Vibrant exhaust. The sound is straight money.

headers installed, the sound out of my car now is just pure sex! its so deep and rumbly, sounds like a true subby, flow is so much better and testing our gas milage now.... i highly recommend this set up to any one, the vibrant muffler was already deep but WOW!

Yesterday I was blessed with a new passenger for the Subaru , well actually she is the reason I bought my leggy probably would have ended up with a volkswagon, but thank god I didn't!

heres an update/diy how to take your front bumper off the quick way

The cab just barely clipped my front bumper, unfortunately the stop behind the bumper pierced a giant hole through it and just put a very small crack in my pass headlight, i was crossing a one way in bumper to bumper traffic and the lane that is used for people to park in the cabby was probably cruising in at 40km/h, i crept forward just a little to make sure it was ok to cross the last lane and BAM.

After some quick fixing on the street



but not all is down i picked up a new front bumper and headlight for 60$ thank you auto yard!
although the bumper is red , i will be painting it the spruce pearl before it goes back on

actually i pulled it off another brighton , it was the only one in the lot without a crack in the bumper, and yes i know i very lucky, no mechanical damage at all or metal..

well between all this rain,work and my daughter , i really haven't had any time to do anything, but i did get to sneak in a quick first layer of paint on the new bumper... i still need to install my saggy butt spacers and short shifter also

installed cosmos short shifter and holy fuck is it ever shorter! and cleared my headlights with 3m, they lok amazing

Ive used the Meguiars headlight kit, but this looks likes it does a better job. I may have to try this one out...

Well its been a while, today I went to the auto werkers for a door switch the turns on the dome lights and a door crank handle cause mine broke and a trim piece for around the hatch... But while u was there I saw a Brighton sitting there with 427,000 km on it and I was just amazed because its double my kms. Which is retarded with the ej22 still in it! Also was very tempted to pick up an outbacks front.bumper and hood while there.

Figured I'd stop by and give a fellow Brighton some love! I like your wagon a lot man, and I'm jealous of your exhaust! I actually have custom fab single port headers sitting next to me at the moment. I need to re-weld them then slap 'em on.
