Mirror transplant. Heated into JDM power folding.

Can it be done? and has anyone done it?
Is there a DIY on it?

And does anyone have a pinout for the connectors?

I have stock EDM heated mirrors with electric adjustment at the moment.
Trying to install JDM power folding mirrors with electric adjustment, turn signal and hopefully heated glass.

    Not sure about the Pinouts.

You can try the factory service manual for wiring schematics available through my signature or the literature / manual section of SLi.

    Good luck

I recently purchased heated power folding mirrors from the UK. I have yet to install them. Because the pins had to be removed from the connectors in order to disassemble the mirrors from the bases, the seller kindly provided a connector diagram for each wire color. However, the purpose of each wire is not explained. Perhaps these images will be helpful for you nonetheless:

Hmmm, have to figure this out the old school way, trial and error.
The adjustment on the mirror works fine, but it seems that it has 3 settings, folded in, fully out and a thing somewhere inbetween, because i can only see the door in half of the mirror.
But i atleast have 2 switches to compare.

Re: Mirror transplant. Heated into JDM power folding.

    I have figured it out
    Gray/Black
    Brown/Yellow
Controls the folding part of the mirror, other than those two wires everything in the socket/plug matches up with OEM mirrors.
So that means that these are allready heated i guess.

Just ned a couple of switches 3-way switches. Since the left mirror will go out too far i can't leave the switch in the fold or unfold position. It must be adjusted each time.

The mirrors are on, just need to wire up the turn signal and folding.
