So I got mine a little over a year ago. After the first week, I'm not sure how I went so long without it.
I got a Milwaukee Cordless Impact. It dosent have a ton of TQ, but it does the job I need it to. I use it for body and engine work. Awesome for tear downs since it makes things go fast.
Reasons I like it so much:
-5x's faster for dis-assembly for the job
-Changeable chucks. I have a 1/4, 3/8, 1/4, and bit fittings. (Have even ran on 24mm nuts rather then doing it with a ratchet).
-Extended packs can last up to a couple days of full days work.
-small and compact! I take it with me in my small tool bag every where!
-calluses are not as bad on my fingers from spinning bolts!
-house hold uses! Worked on the washing machine, building the carport, building the outhouse at my cabin, and a number of other neat things!
What I dont like:
-Every now and then, I brake 10mm bolts on removal, but only if they are rusty and you can tell they are most likely gonna snap before it happens.
-I had to pay money for it... and thats about it...
Truly worth the while! Red85celica has a Dewalt version and thats where I found the use for it. I like my Milwaukee better because of the ability to change bits in about 1 second. His does seem to have more removal TQ, but I think he even likes using mine. haha...
I got mine as a set with a Drill, cordless Sawzall, and a flash light for about $400 I think. At the time, Home Depot was running a deal including a free extended life battery and the whole set was completely worth the money! Didnt think I would care about the light but even that has been useful! The first one sadly got stolen, but I got another off Ebay for a good deal and have not had a problem with it at all.
This is the impact I have, I'll try and get a pic the one I actually use, but this is basicaly it. Totally worth the money!

BY FAR, one of my all time favorite tools I have ever had! I mean one of my top 3 fav's! Shop around and see what you find, but I would keep an eye out on the sets, they are totally worth getting the counter parts that come with it.
