    should throw in stuff for the projectors as well in a kind of misc area. i know the main bulb is H1 and the brights are H3, but forgot the DRLs and i think the turn signals/parking lights are the same as USDM. not positive on that last part.

    BE instrument cluster bulbs?

    OK, I know I'm going to get a few "try searching" replies (Hi Huffer :smt002 ) but try as I may I could not find this. What are the bulb sizes in the BE instrument cluster and hvac? The bulb size thread doesn't list them. Anyone know?
    Thanks.

    Re: BE instrument cluster bulbs?

    ^^^ Ya that's what I ran into. What I really need to know is the size of the little bulbs like in the hvac and buttons. Apparently there are three different sizes of those little screw in bulbs. I might just have to tear into it and see.

    Re: BE instrument cluster bulbs?

    alright i've torn my dash apart 5 times now, checking the bulbs, ordering, checking again, going to radio shack, building my own, and now i think i've got most of the bulbs covered for what your going to want to replace on your car. i got everything through :
    www.superbrightleds.com and most of these are under the 12 v car bulbs.
    and it goes like this : (you'll have to pick your colors)

    PRODUCT # QTY. ()
    * for the dash light bulbs - odometer & time/temp - # T1.5-xHP (2)
    * for the dash/instrument illumination bulb - # WLED-x4 (4)
    * for hvac / heater illumination - NeoWedge 4mm, led or smd #NEO-4x (3) for the hvac, one of the bulbs is shorter in length so i used 2 regular NEO-4x and 1 NEO4-xHP

    * for the ashtray / accessory ring / key light ring - # 74-xHP3 (3)
    * for the dome lights / map lights / door lights - 5 total #3022-x9 or # 3022-CWHP2 (white) (5) - i used the #3022-CWHP2 for my dome lights

    * for the fog light switch and the cruise control switch i found some led's that should be the right size, but will have to use the old light sockets - haven't done this yet, but i ordered the bulbs and will be doin next weekend. i found these bulbs under the component led's and they are 3 mm bulbs - # RL3-W3030 & #RL3-B2030 (4)

    *i hope this helps the BE / BH guys get some new dash lights. i'm very happy with what i've done so far, and as soon as i am done i'll do a write up on this procedure.

    ^^^ You are my new hero. This is exactly what I Needed
    So what color did you use in the dash? If it was blue, you think you could post up a pic? And maybe one of our mods could make that post a sticky in the threads of note or something?
    Thanks a ton blackstar !!

    Re: Bulb Replacement information

    Anyone have an exact list of which bulbs someone would need to do an entire BK dash in LED's? Not sure how many of each size im going to need to order. Looking to do the Cluster, HVAC, all Switches, and anything else I'm forgetting. Im sure this has been covered before, but I can't find a complete list anywhere!

    Re: Bulb Replacement information

    someone here has done this on a BD/BG and knows how many of which bulbs are needed. Im trying to order these ASAP so my interior lights will more closely match my gauges...

    from what I've been able to find, I'm going to need:

    Buying from Superbrightleds.com
    http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/ ... l%23ipanel

    Cluster:
    4x 158 bulbs for speedo/tach
    2x 74 bulbs for smaller speed/tach

    HVAC:
    3x Twist in (not sure on size, think the NEO4 on)

    Other:
    Neo4 for Cruise,Fog,Defrost and Hazard.

    do I need NEO3 or NEO4 for these bulbs?!?

    am I on the right track now?

    Re: Bulb Replacement information

    ok, just FYI these are the LED's you would need to do the whole dash:

    4x 158 Bulbs- I used the WLED-G-120
    2x 74 Bulbs- I used the 74-GHP
    3x NEO3 bulbs for HVAC- I used 2 green and one White (so my red/blue temp is correct color)
    NEO3 Bulbs also fit the Fog/curise/defrost buttons.

    NEO3 bulbs need the little twist lock shortened by 1mm or so, just used a knife. they fit directly into the HVAC after this.

    To make the NEO3 bulbs fit into the buttons, you must also sand down the base (they are just slightly bigger around than the stock)

    I would rec. the widest viewing angle bulbs you can get for all the parts.
