I decided one day last summer, after closing on my house, that I was tired of it being slow. It was fun to drive, but way too slow. So! I bought a donor wrx.. and swapped it. With the exception of the wiring merge, I did everything myself.. I'm not saying this to boast, I am putting it out there so that if there are any who have questions. .. feel free to ask. With all the custom shit I had to do, it took me roughly 45-50 hours to complete over the course of 5 weeks.
Here is a current picture, and the most recent video of it on the dyno..
it made 242/260 whp/wtq on a dynojet research on the failing td04-13t @ 17.8 psi
annnnnddd here is the day i got it.
not long after it looked like this.
then i have a ton of pictures from the swap and stuff linked elsewhere.
then it looked like this
It will be painted shortly all one color, and i havent taken any more recent pictutres aside from the two cellphone shots.. mainly because we got hammered with snow and then the turbo failed
