    '00 Legacy B4 Wagon Coilovers

    Hey guys

I know this question may have been asked a million times

But i'd like to know some more about which coilovers will directly bolt into my car from other models

also, i'd like to know where i might be able to order these said coilovers

i live outside of the states so i need to be extremely specific before i place an order

any help would be much appreciated, even if its a referral to another thread

    Many Thanks!

Re: '00 Legacy B4 Wagon Coilovers

So, a few questions. Do you have a Sedan or a Wagon? What country is the car from, and what country are you in (if different)?

B4 and Wagon are contradictory terms. B4 means Sedan.. so there is no such thing as a "B4 Wagon"

Re: '00 Legacy B4 Wagon Coilovers

whoops x_x guess im still learning about my baby then

it is definitely a wagon lol

Id like to safely assume that it's from Japan because everything is in Japanese (navigation system, manual, head unit, tv, etc..)

it may sound a bit blonde but to answer your question im from the Caribbean so definitely not made here lmao, and that also explains why im a bit dull when it comes to knowing the diff between jdm vs usdm

    thanks for the response

Re: '00 Legacy B4 Wagon Coilovers

it says "Subaru Legacy GT" on the back

i always assumed the GT stood for Grand Touring but the actual model was different

did some long overdue research and was enlightened that it is infact a GT

(not mine btw, mine sits a bit lower and has a black/yellow color scheme)

will post pics if you guys want to see

Re: '00 Legacy B4 Wagon Coilovers

If you can get the information off of the model plate on the left side strut pillar, we could tell you just about everything about the car.

    It would look like this:

Being in the Caribbean may limit your options unless you were willing to import parts from either Japan or the US, but I am sure we can find you something.

Re: '00 Legacy B4 Wagon Coilovers

I tried to reply to you last night, but I hit some sort of error on the forum. Which is too bad, I had a good post going on there too. Unfortunately most of my thoughts have been lost into the ether with my attention deficit disorder.. hah

Okay, so you have a JDM 1999 GT-B. Fun fact, your car used to be white when it came out of the factory.

Assuming that it still has the stock suspension, you have Bilstein struts on there. Are you sure that you want coilovers? What exactly are you looking to do, lower the car? Raise the car? or something else?

Re: '00 Legacy B4 Wagon Coilovers

oh damn x_x lol, that sucks man, i guess we just gotta work with what we have then lo

    alright, 1999 JDM GT-B. got it n_n

yes, she was yellow but painted it black and yellow about two years ago (no reference to the Wiz K song)

yup, Bilsteins are on as we speak, but definitely wanna go lower (that's why id like the adjustability of coilovers). i wanna get rid of all wheel gap completely and possibly tuck down to the rim

Sounds like your best bet would be airbags...

BTW, I'd like to see a pic of your car. I've had a black/yellow paint scheme bouncing around my head recently, and would love to compare.

Re: '00 Legacy B4 Wagon Coilovers

if you can send me a link to some decent ones (build wise and price wise lol) ill be all over them

only issues would be price and space because i have my car built for sound and as it is theres barely any trunk space for an air compresor

    here's some pics:

and a clearer look at the plate now that i know how to put it straight on the thread lol

id love to see how she'd look with the wheels tucked tho </3

Re: '00 Legacy B4 Wagon Coilovers

I did a quick and dirty rendering of it dropped using that first picture in MSPaint, but photobucket's not letting me upload it... I'll get it up soon as I can.

Re: '00 Legacy B4 Wagon Coilovers

that looks about right yeah lol, thanks for that perspective

i wanna have her sitting like that or even lower until i upgrade the rims

also, i answered the question about which coilovers will fit (after extensive personal research lol)

turns out alot of the imprezas front struts will fit but the back ones wont because my type legacies have a "multilink" style setup that's unique to only the be/bh line (bummer!)
