    Drum roll please....

    A Samco Sport BLE intake

They even included the original price sticker (which I was no where close to paying)

Fun note, never knew this stuff was in the intake box

Not sure... Haven't driven it much yet.

    -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
EDIT: Did some driving and it feels a little punchier with a slightly deeper exhaust note. But that could be the "I just worked on my car and everything is better now" affect.

Just gotta say (and this is a copy from my Facebook), Subaru is an awesome company...They make great cars and they let their customers be some of the best sales people possible though the Subaru Ambassador program. I just got these packages in today.

    Dear Ambassador,

We love your enthusiasm! To help you
spread the Subaru LOVE this winter, we are
providing you with snow shovels and ice
scrapers. Please keep these items handy
and give them to those who may need some
help in clearing a path to a safe winter drive.

Thanks again for sharing your passion for
    Subaru with others.

    Best regards,

    Your friends at Subaru Ambassador
    Headquarters.
Now while subaru drivers shouldn't need them, I plan on helping people out once the weather gets bad.

And I have my power sorted out for my AirPlay audio install.

Better audio quality, no range issues and stuttering audio, no more funky little unit up by the shifter.

Well. Its been a long time since I updated this. The car decided to drop the code after some "spirited" highway driving. Not much has changed beyond that.

Almost had 2 sets of Spec B Bilsteins but both deals fell though. Almost had a OBP GT hood but my hood was too flawed for his "flawless" hood. Other stuff has been keeping me not as active but I'll go into that some other time.

    Gave her a bath today

I did redo the tow how in yellow plastidip (dipped in a can, not sprayed) because the paint would not hold on it.

My mothers dome light stopped working awhile back but when I swapped hers out for mine, both units worked. Well, over the last 6 months mine began to refuse to work in the on position. Door position worked no problem.

I got a replacement from a junk yard I use and when I was about done with the swap, I noticed I had 2 different color lenses.

The darker one is the original.

Well guys, It's finally time (and just in time, moving and loosing a good garage). This Sunday, my car will be getting dropped. I was waiting for a set of Spec B Bilstein but I simply can't wait any longer. My car is getting dropped on a factory set of GT struts and springs.

Maybe later I'll get some Bilstiens and continue my Outback 3.0R Spec B dreams...

Looks good! I happen to know where a set of 3.0R Bilsteins are that could be had at a reasonable price Also if you are ever interested in a flat hood let me know, mine will need a respray but I'd trade in a heartbeat for the "power bulges"...

That's a shame it rubs under load, because it looks so good! How bad is it rubbing? Could you be okay with just ignoring it?

There are ways to adjust for that. I know @rkrenicki has something in his car that compensates for the different tires.

Is it just me or the front seats noticeably lower? Guessing wagon springs were used?

Like the "fat" look of lowered outback, wagons in particular.

Just chilling with @98legwag waiting to get in.

Forgot to mention, I was the 4th car in the gate.

Better shot of both my car, 98legwag's car, and a sweet 5th gen GT.

One of my new favorite pics...

Both of these shots by kcowles

Today, was a pain, Swapped out the GT for the Bilstein. The initial swap happened in no time. After the install, the car would roll in park. This lead to a small test drive where this happened.

That led to a new axle being purchased and while trying to install, damaging the threads on the ball joint...
Got a die set (from Lowes because it was late in the day and no one had m12x1.25 dies anywhere) to reshape the thread after trying to file the threads back into shape.

No pics of the install and I am not sure if it made the improvement I was hopping for...

Well. Today it gets aligned... The ride is soo much better then the GTs (KYBs) I had. I found them to be a bit harsh and for how shitty most of the PA roads are, intolerable at times. I want comfort.

Still have a small rub issue but its no where near as bad. Its sitting about an inch higher which is where I wanted it to be.

    Need more pictures.

With it being an inch height difference I am starting to think maybe the GT set up was done for. It should only be about 3/8 inch difference.
