Installed Nokya Hyper Yellow bulbs in the fog lights. I will try to get pics tomorrow. I really need to aim the fogs up a bit. They are pretty much aimed straight down from the factory.

Wish I had money for the end links and a RSB.
It helps that I got a STEAL on the rear endlinks. Basically got the 70% off on Ebay because they have 1,000 miles of use.

I'm jealous.... I seriously need to work on handling.
Took the car in for the new hard brake line corrosion recall on Saturday. Checked out fine. But they did say the inner cv boots are leaking on the front axles, which they are. The service adviser told me to just tighten the clamps because the tech said he could not find any holes or tears. Unfortunately for me the boots are directly above the headers on the H6. Yesterday I re-greased the front sway bar bushings hoping it would cure the creaking noise I am getting going over speed bumps. Also washed the car.

That is exactly what I was referring to as far as the cv boots. Do you guys think tightening the clamp would help or are the boots hosed at this point?

try to tighten it, it can't hurt right? If there isn't any tears or rips your probably safe.
Try it. Is there another solution from the aftermarket?
This is the car I'm looking to buy next. I'm watching this.
Current:

Nothing that I have seen. My friend suggested making a heat shield to put between the cats and the cv axles.

I am trying to decide if I should stick with my original plan of not modifying this car too much and getting a project car when its paid off or if I should continue to modify this car. I love it the way it is, but I keep seeing this I want for it...

The vinyl overlays I ordered for the front and rear emblems came and installed them yesterday. They are a pearl white background with WRB stars. I got them from http://www.jdmfanaticvinyls.com. I am impressed with the fitment.

I looked and they dont make them for the 05-07 legacy....I wonder if the badge sizes are the same?
They definitely look awesome on your car with the white background.

Thanks. I am 99% sure the 05-07s have smaller badges. I tried some from http://www.grafxwerks.com/ first. The fit for the 08-09 overlays was a little off. They were smaller than the badges. That site is also more expensive.Originally Posted by chrish8r

Have you considered replacing rear fog/deflector with plastic covers? I'm kinda 50/50 on that, reckon covers look a bit more aggressive. Got all four part numbers needed for the swap, just cannot decide if I want to do it or not, if I do then I'll mostly likely will colour match the covers, black plastic just looks a bit too cheap. What do you think?
I have thought about it. I have also thought about wrapping them with vinyl because it would be cheaper. Another thought I had was trying to make them into rear fog lights.Originally Posted by soba noodle

The parts are surprisingly cheap, managed all for covers (inner/outer x2) for about $15 plus shipping.
Don't you have a fog already? I have one on driver's side (since the car is RHD), the passenger one is just a reflector.
The only hard part for me is that you have to take the bumper off, which I know is relatively easy but I've never done it before.
Nope, again the USDM cars don't cool stuff. Both are reflectors. And I have some left over carbon fiber vinyl. I just don't think I want to go that route. The only thing bugging me about the reflectors right now is when the rear bumper was repainted they did not remove the reflectors and did a bad job masking them off. I just need to clean that up with some rubbing compound or something. But I am much too lazy to take the bumper off right now. Since the USDM bumpers stick out a little more it may be possible to get to the reflectors with out taking the bumper off.Originally Posted by soba noodle

So I have had the car a little over a year now. My review is that I love the power and power delivery this car has. With the suspension mods I have done and the factory Bilsteins it handles pretty well. I love the Harman Kardon stereo. It sounds good but is not too loud. Also, after looking at the brakes I believe the previous owner upgraded them to Centric Premium rotors and some sort of upgraded pads. The car does stop pretty well. The previous owner also put Pirelli P-Zero Nero UHP all seasons are the car. They are fantastic tires. The only things I dislike about the car are the door cards rattle a bit when I turn up the volume on the stereo and it has the turning circle of a cruise ship. Eventually I may do something about the door cards.

I put some one-sided foamy tape between the door and the the card, solved the rattling problem ( only the front passenger door was rattling a bit, but I did both anyway when the speakers were replaced).
Yeah, I did the same in my 98. Its just a matter of not being lazy and doing it to this car too.Originally Posted by soba noodle
