    seriously killer deal

I just went out to the garage and gave them a complete look over
no bends, cracks or major rash on any rim. all center caps there

the tires still have the little nubbins on the sides so they must be very gently used
theres tons of tread and they are all holding air fine.
No hidden screws/nails, no plugs that I can see

    no surprises

I can't wait to get these suckers on!
Last year my car was undrivable in deep snow. it just wasn't safe

Damn man! i thought i got my winters at a good deal (brand new subaru grey steelies on worn out winters for 100$) but this just takes the cake... Baby is coming soon, time flies. You'll notice a huge difference between the 2 tires for stopping distances.

    Re: Petro's BP BSM 2006 Legacy2.5i Wagon*Nov. 2 New Rims!

    Stupid Ebay

I ordered 2 turn signal bulbs for my JDM rear tails
My stock ones used clear bulbs and the JDM's only came with 1 amber bulb

I ordered 2 chrome bulbs that light up amber. The perfect look for clear lens lights
But today I receive 1 bulb in a box

The seller has good feedback so I expect they will just send me my other bulb, I just sent an email to them

Now I have 2 amber bulbs in my lights so that's good and finally legal again.
They just don't match and behind clear lenses you can clearly see the big ugly amber bulb

    Re: Petro's BP BSM 2006 Legacy2.5i Wagon*Nov. 2 New Rims!

    my thread is cursed
back in june a ton of my pics stopped working and I had to go through and reload all the ones I could

now I see I'm missing half my pics again

    In car news,
-I plan to put my winters on this weekend
-it needs a wash crazy bad
-The ebay seller is sending me 2 more bulbs free and they should be here any day now
-I absolutely love my tail lights!

    Re: Petro's BP BSM 2006 Legacy2.5i Wagon*Nov. 2 New Rims!

Its +8C here today and the weather is great. First thing I did was put up the Christmas lights outside
And I decided to put on the winter tires and rims.
The 225/45/17's vs my stock 205/50/17's don't feel like they are rubbing and everything seems good
They drive super straight and I just couldn't be happier with them
But my stupid socket for my impact gun doesn't fit on the LGT 17" rims so I had to do them by hand
I also took off my Subaru wheel lock set and put the 4 normal lug nuts back on.

Before I did my winters I installed my other chrome bulb in my tail light

Since the seller only sent me 1 of 2 he sent me another 2 for free so now I have a spare
So I have spare clear, amber and chrome bulbs

    Re: Petro's BP BSM 2006 Legacy2.5i Wagon*Nov. 2 New Rims!

when I got home yesterday I turned the tap to the front on and went back and turned it right off afterwards
Not looking forward to having to pay for some wash's this winter

    The chrome bulb-
I believe you legally have to have your turn signal light up amber or red where we live.
My stock bulb was clear behind the amber plastic of my old tail lights

I got a free amber bulb with my tail lights but it was only 1 so I needed another
The chrome/mirrored surface inside the tail light housing made the amber bulb more noticeable
because of the mirror, it filled the inner reflector with the amber colour.

Now the chrome bulb lights up amber colour but has a reflective surface and it is far less noticeable when looking at the tail light
The chrome bulbs cost the same as the amber ones (ebay shipped 3 to my door for $3.20)

It really just achieves a cleaner look for very little cost.

There is a '98 BD L 5spd with 160K km for $800 on kijiji right now
Looks clean, burgundy colour. sooooo much want but totally not gonna happen

I was out all afternoon in the legacy and shortly after leaving home I got behind this BMW 325i wagon
I was driving behind them for almost 10 min and when we got in separate lanes and I was going to turn off
He rolled the window down and gave me the thumbs up

    wagon love

First good snow of the year.
Its harder to get the new snow tires to break free in the rear around corners
last year the all seasons were slippin and slide'n

Heres some more pics of the tails for wentz912 and soba noodle is right, all the info is on page 2
but if u have specific questions just ask

    how the morning started

by the drive home it was this, and its proby doubled by this time. I hope we get the predicted 25cm.
    I want to play more!

I haven't really had a good fun session yet.
Tires are just too damn good to get drifty in regular corners
and Ive been looking but haven't seen any ditch bitches yet
    no accidents seen yet
and I drive the most accident prone intersections in the city everyday

and I don't have time to go out during any peak fun times
My wife is about to pop

I just broke 1 of my window vent visors. passenger side
    Doing something stupid.

So pissed right now as I don't have $ for new ones and loved them so much.

When I get home if I can find the broken pieces on the ground I may try and glue it back together

and yes those turns are great fun with snow on the ground.

Every time it snows I see people driving through our back lot drifting and having fun.
Im usually the first one through the snow back there in the mornings so I always get first dibs

I used todays +5C to check/adjust both cars fluid levels. Should have washed them
Everything was good. Took the forester out to brunch with family...after clearing the usual codes

Installed car seat bases in both back seats
The Legacy has the special hooks built in for extra ease

We got an old rocking chair for Christmas and it fit in the truck of my wagon without putting the seats down
or having any of it go into the back seat. Go go gadget wagon

Its filthy right now but the silver hides dirt so well

I didn't see you but I did see RedRex and Legacy from the NCSC drive past my car at work on different occasions this week.

theres so many subarus in the city, its like 1 of every 10-20 cars I see is a Subaru
not enough second gen legacys on the road, mostly newish imprezas and foresters

    Re: Petro's BP BSM 2006 Legacy2.5i Wagon*Dec.10 Snow pics

So Saturday night my wife says she wants to go out for dinner and that we should take bumpy roads to try and work the baby out of her (40weeks)

On the way back from dinner I take an alternate route home
There's a recently paved parking lot, free of obstacles that I had eyed out but not visited yet
I took the wagon for its longest drift session ever. Lots of fun for both of us

Went home and a few hours later, BOOM! It's happening

Now I'm sitting in the hospital with my big baby boy (9.6lbs)

    Soooo drift baby?
