Correct, they are inside. a few people have opened them up and replaced them, but honestly its easier to just replace the whole thing.

The S401 switch (the red one pictured above) is about $40-50 after shipping and whatnot to the US. You will need to swap the plastic bracket from your US switch to convert it from RHD to LHD.

I will post an official for sale ad this week, with what's included, pictures, vin, etc...

Going to be asking $4250 with the BBS RGIIs and everything to finish the 5x114 conversion (minus rear rotors).

Sold this over the weekend to a buddy. He's likely going to be parting the car out, so keep yours eyes peeled if there is anything you want.

He's been slinging parts all over FB groups. Car is stripped and went to the scrap yard this morning.

That is truly a sad ending... Did it have a ton of rust or something?

It had a little rust, nothing more than you'd expect from a 15 year old New England car.

I tried to sell it whole for a month, only one looker. Sold it to my buddy last week for a deal so he could part it. Between selling/showing a house and now packing/moving cross-country, I didn't have time to part myself, or I would have.

So after some poking around I found this posting. I'd liek to add the auto up/down feature to my 2004 LL Bean wagon. Do you happen to know the difference between these two parts?

Functionality looks to be the same, except the Subaru version doesn't have AUTO printed on the front passenger switch and it costs twice as much.

    Thanks in advance

    Justin

They are the same part, only switch caps are different.
