    Needle DIY

I found these on the net http://www.importintelligence.com/inneki.html and desperately want some for the BE5. Unfortunately they don't do a kit for any Legacy nor do they seem particularly interested in whether there WRX or Forester kit would work on the Legacy. So my question is guys, how disimilar (or similar ) are the 02 onwards WRXs dashes, or the 98 2.5 RS gauges? I mean surely they would be the same as a 1999 RSK BE5? And if not could any of our very smart guys work out how I could make something similar with red leds? The BE has lexan needles. Cheers guys
Yes officer, I did hit a pedestrian, but instead of dwelling on that why not focus on how many I've missed?

I take it from the question that you do not have a Black Faced Meter in your RSK.. I would look into doing that instead of messing with aftermarket needles.

Only the automatic had the BFM in '99. That means he must have a manual and would then need a '00 gauge set. However, the wiring is a little different between the BFM and regular gauges. You should know that better than anybody. I'm guessing new dials is easier.

Yep, I have the non-BFM wiring in my thread for those looking to do that conversion.

I could not easily find his thread to see if he had AT or MT. Admittedly, I did not look very hard. heh

Lol thanks guys. Ok, over here an RSK IS the manual version. So yes I have a manual RSK twin turbo. It is 99 and doesn't have BFM… I wish it did! So any advice? I could probably try and find a BFM but how hard is the conversion? No, I don't want an auto gauge either. Ideally I just want the glowing needles as have blue less for gauge cluster...

I don't understand. The RSK was both a/t and m/t from '98 through '02. Sure, they had different transmissions, engines, interior bits, exhaust, power, etc., but they were both called RSK.

My apologies. I've been misinformed by some other party
