    Thumbs up Thanks, SL-i!

Thanks SL-i, for being such a great forum.
I've hopped onto a few other forums to sell my Impreza lately and even though there are a small number of helpful/respectful people out there, no forum has the ratio of quality people here on SL-i. Sure, this forum may not be the most active out there, but if some of the comments I've received for my car are an indication of the caliber of people on more active forums, then I hope SL-i stays the way it is. If SL-i were different, I probably would just leave forums in general. I have never posted anything on the Mercedes forums I am on, and it has worked out well for me that way. I wish I could say the same about the other Subaru forums I have an account on... although to be fair, it seems the people who are dicks are predominately turbo-owners (or in the case of Mercedes, supercharged).

(side note: The Honda NM4 forum is just as great as SL-i, and has the same low activity. There may be something to that)

Those people don't have anything better to do, that's why they are active. People like that don't belong here and will be erased. Our members go to school or have families, and some cases both.

This forum actually is way, way good in terms of participation and quality of knowledge floating around. Also, the way this forum is organized is pretty dang good too. Better than a lot of other ones I've seen.

That's great to hear - we've been moving a lot around & making upgrades, so it's nice to see some positive feedback!

This is a great forum, I do not speak English, but I read your comments, opinions and gradually I can understand ... When the going gets tough, it helps me google translator, hahaha. I've spent years learning from your page. As I do not speak English, just dedicate myself to read .. Sometimes I can not understand local words .. but still, I always find myself reading something interesting
Soon I will do my thread in Member Rides I took me a long time to understand that that thread is to show my vehicle.

This forum is great! Were more mature'd and not quick to judge people and they're car compare to whats "IT" right now. When I first started it was riped with conversions (headlights/taillights 1st fast and furious time) and I learned alot from working on fiberglass and body work. For now standards my integra then would of been hella riced out. Had widebody (no wheels to fill it) s15 headlights and r32 taillights. I laugh about it now but it brought me experience and knowledge.

I get good information on http://www.benzworld.org/ in the W209 section. There are very helpful and that's the only Mercedes forums that I'm active on. I agree on the other forums there are d***s. From the Acura, Honda, Mercedes, etc. forums. I'm still searching information on the BM models so I can learn about my 2013 Legacy. I have no clue about the flat motors.

I may start searching for a good Nissan Forums since I may replace the Benz with a R32 or R33 GTR. Need to do it behind my wife back since she is telling me I need to replace it with another high end German vehicle.

I'm getting the feeling the BM is the new BE - nobody quite liked it as well as the previous generation, so I doubt it gets as much attention on legacygt.org. My mother has one and I've worked on it, so feel free to ask questions, I'm fairly well versed on them for not having owned one.
