Found my new shift knob (pics)

Yes, frag grenade shift knob. It shall be glorious. Trying to figure out whether I should tap it to fit my current trans or the Z33 6-speed that's going to be going in soon...

That's sinister . Was it at once an active device, and where do you come across such a thing?

I'll give you one guess, and it starts with an "E"

Was once active, now rendered inert.

    It shipped today, I'm excited!

I might be wrong, but I think the Z33 trans has the same thread as the Subaru. M12x1.25.

What's even better? PPG is making a dogbox gearset for the Z/G 6-speed. If you blow the Z tranny, give me a call.

The fabricator at Turboxs made a shift knob for us a while back. It was, by far, the greatest shift knob in the history of the world.

The night I was driving with it, I got pulled over. Got a warning. The cop wasn't too amused though.

haha. Nice. My dad was in the air force and told me how he almost bought a flight stick from an F-16 at an auction. That was to be his gear shifter. The buttons on the stick would control different functions. Radio, starting the car, etc...

Hope you didn't pay too much on Ebay. They're $6 over here and around that at several other links Google pulled up.
