Completely missed this post. Auto just isn't the best choice with this car. Tuned the manual is still way better.

Did a few things since this thread was created.

Experimented with vinyl on interior pieces so I can get it right in the Legacy when the time comes. I ended up redoing it but weather is crap so updated pics didn't come out that great.

here is a comparison of the vinyl that on the bow ties in the 1st post and what's inside now.

    Night shots of the vinyl.

After That I went with the chrome trunk bar. and swapped the red overlays with another sew with reverse cutout.

Another mod I did was installing the Z Spec Grille. I felt kinda partial to deleting the chrome but it felt good when It was all said and done. I almost added chrome to this new grille from the old one but glad I didn't fee like the extra hassle. This particular trim pushes the license plate bracket in the way of the upper grille to make a clear path to the eco shutter system below. Lots of "words" and prying was done to get the old one out and this one in.

They were nice enough to even include the manliest of man instructions ever in the box.

More shots of the trunk bar.

As for the RS Gauge swap, I'll try my best to explain what it is. Tons of non RS Cruze owners even know what it is.

...The RS interior gets an uplevel instrument cluster, replacing the standard silver finish with chrome accent rings as well as opaque cluster bezels that allow the cluster’s ice blue backlighting to shine through. GM says that this provides “a sporty nighttime appearance.”
This is pretty much the difference between the clusters.

    Here is RS

Here is what all the other trims besides Diesel and LTZ get standard.

Here is the gauges separated from the bezel.

    Here they are installed daytime

    Night time/low light shots

Traded in for the 2017 SMR 6MT Sport last December. New thread for it is in the works as we speak.
