Question blinkers do not work. fuse blows on startup.

So yesterday out of nowhere I notice that my blinkers aren't working.

Today I was able to look for a fix and I just cannot figure out what the culprit is.

I have checked wiring and cleaned the sockets/connectors in all four corners, I have also deleted my JDM sidemarkers from the circuits and swapped bulbs even though all were working.

The 15A, Fuse No. 1, 'TURN/BACK' fuse keeps blowing once I start the car. If I swap out the fuse and turn the key to the 'ON' position the blinkers work just fine, the hazards work regardless of the key's position. I can hear the relay activating when the hazards go off.. all of the brake lights, running lights, hazards work normally except the blinkers. Initially the fuse would blow when I activated the right blinker- even in ACC position.

Most of the things I have found online point to the stalk being the problem but the fact that the blinkers work prior to starting the car is confusing me.

    Help pls

Pull out the multimeter, I believe there is a breakout chart to test the stalk in the manual.
