WTB: Inexpensive 17x7 wheels for Winter use

I am in search of an inexpensive set of 17x7 wheels for my Winter setup. The only real requirements are that they must clear 4pot/2pot brakes and must not be bent/cracked. I dont care about curb rash/scrapes/bubbles/etc...

I know that 2005-2009 GT/XT/H6 wheels will clear just fine, as will any 17" WRX wheel, I havent looked at anything newer.

If you have an old ratty set of stock wheels (that fit my requirements) sitting in the corner, and want a few bucks for them, let me know!

I'm going to be getting rid of my Impreza Sport 17" wheels after this summer, but I don't imagine shipping would make it worth your while. GLWP.

Nope, they need to be 17. I have tried two different sets of 16s, and while they are VERY close.. they will not clear.

Rob, what were the offsets and widths of the 16's youve tried? I have a sneaking suspicion one of my 16" wheelsets that fit z32 brakes will clear what you have...

The 16" 04-05 Outback H6 wheels have the spokes clear the calipers fine but the barrel is only about 1mm above the caliper, but that means that the barrel mounted weights are too tall.

The 16" snowflakes are very very close, but the barrel diameter is too small and it wont center on the hub..

ah ok, so you tried 16x6.5 with 55 and 48... wanna try some 16x7 +42 or or a 16x7.5 +38? Most alloy wheels taper in towards the spokes, hence why a lower offset will likely give the clearance you need.

Let me know if want to do a small test fit - just txt me whenever youre in NYC and we can work something out. Reason I'm saying is cause the prices for 16 snows are SOO much cheaper. Aaand I can probably part with one of my wheelsets lol.

I have some JDM WRX/Legacy GT-B OEM wheels which are 17x7 and they do clear 4 pots, I've tested this myself. Can sell them without the tires and will ship to you in proper wheel boxes.

I may not actually need these any longer, but out of curiosity, how much are you looking for them?
