Yes, 17X8 WRX wheels do fit a 2004 LGT Wagon. :-)

I picked up these 2013 WRX 17X8's (they were black but I FIXED that ) fitted with 235/45/17 tires. Totally stock suspension set up, no spacers, just took the old '05 WRX 16's off and bolted these right on. No rubbing anywhere, even under "spirited" driving conditions with the rear fully loaded with all of my fishing gear (I'm not talking just a few rods and reels either).
I figured I would share this for anyone wondering if 17X8's wound fit on their BH... happily they do.

Looks amazing. Nice rig you got there. I believe it's the 2nd Gen. Cars that need rolling to fit these on the rears. (Fronts supposedly fit fine). Thanks for the heads up!

I agree about the Gen2's needing to be modified... I'm so glad my Gen3 didn't. :-)

The wheels and the gold looks fantastic! My second gen. is rubbing with 205s although they are as wide as most 215s. What a nice wagon you have!

The rears on second gens suck. I needed 2 degrees camber in the rear to fit 225s on a 17x7.5 +53 and even then it clears by a couple mm.
