    99 GC merged harness swap?

I just scrapped my rusted out 99 rsti shell.
I kept the complete merged harness, cluster and driveline. Its a 95 sti ej20g engine
I just picked up a super clean 99 Legacy GT wagon

Can swap in the merged sti/rs harness/cluster hassle free?

I have tons of experience with subarus just never had a 2nd gen Leggy

Hassle free? probably not, You would have to rewire the door harness maybe the hvac/ speedometer / lights just to name a few. You can probably use your cluster so you don't have to rewire the legacy one. You basically have the bulkhead to make the car runs but need to rewire for the doors and such.

ok so it will be easier to get a spare legacy/outback harness to at least compare and swap plugs to make it work. I will keep my rs cluster it has been modified for my engine and ecu combo

I would start fresh and save the hassle of reworking the already merged harness.
