    Gas tank swap

Here is an interesting swap question, not really in line with the usual engine/trans swaps. Would a third gen larger gas tank work in a second gen? The second gen tank is 15.9 gallon, the third gen is 16.9. It would be nice to have the added range

Not sure if it'll work but I think its too much work just to get the extra gallon. You have to remove your whole rear end before you can drop and swap it. Might be easier if you have a lift.

Also the 3rd gen have a weird fuel pump setup and it has a different fuel in/out line to the tank.
