    Thinking of buying a 99 legacy gt-b

So my dad is looking for a new car to get him around in for work. He was looking at an 04 wrx with 99xxx km original owner but its kind of far away, asking 10 g's for it. I came across and add locally for a 99 legacy gt-b that was just imported over alongside another one. I guess buddy got one for himself and is trying to make a couple bucks on the other. It has 93xxx km on it, super clean no rust at all and is asking once again 10 grand obo. I dont really know much about these cars so wonder if anyone on here with experience with one could tell me their thoughts of the car, pro's/cons?
He basically just needs something to get him around without issue. He drive's alot for work and he drives to some pretty remote areas and we can get some nasty winters hence why i've got him looking at subarus!

The only thing that really kept coming up when researching was the lag in between the two turbos/solenoids for them. I believe it was called vod or something and the shifter bushing. So if anyone has any insight that would be much appreciated. Thanks

Here is the add for the leggy.

I do not know what exactly is involved in importing a car into Canada.. but that price seems outrageously high to me. Those cars can be easily found in Japan for $2000-2500, add another $1500 for shipping.. plus whatever importation and duty there is in Canada.. I would expect a final product to be under $6k. If you dont care about it having a 5MT, you can find sportshift GT-Bs for easily under $1000 plus shipping.

Here is one that has only 90k kms on it, and is $3770US shipped to Vancouver. https://www.tradecarview.com/used_ca...agon/19312881/
This one has 102k kms on it, and is $3200US to Vancouver: https://www.tradecarview.com/used_ca...agon/17414899/
