I have a 99 Subaru Legacy SUS with a 4EAT. Recently the transmission died on me and I had a shop rebuild it for me. Now I notice that the transmission has the delayed forward engagement almost every time that I go from reverse to drive. I have had this problem before and I was able to fix it with TransX and some Amsoil ATF. However, is this something that the shop should be able to fix? So far they haven't found any reasons for it and I'm hesitant to use the TransX while the transmission is still under warranty. Any ideas?
