    Question Aftermarket HID Issue

I have install and running aftermarket HID in my 2013 Legacy 2.5i Premium since I bought the vehicle 2-3 years ago. This early morning about 5:00am. I notice my driver side bulb did not turn on. When I got to my work indoor parking garage. I notice that the bulb will turn on when I have the automatic headlight on. When I actual turn the headlight to the on position the bulb turn off. This got me puzzle don't know if the cold weather is effecting the electrical current thru the wires or something else.

Then again I always have problem on my CAN-BUS HID on my Euro when it's cold outside. It like the wires has to warm up so it can get electrical current before the bulb would ever turn on.

    UPDATE

It was the ballast that was an issue.

I also have got an HID kit installed. I installed in 2012, and had those big ballasts in, and kept replacing them every 5-6 months. A friend of mine recommended to get slim-style ballasts, and I absolutely love them! Another thing, with an old ballast set in, in misty weather my lights flickered sometimes, which won't happen with the new ones.
PS - glad you fixed it, man!
